Minister: Barry Gilreath Jr.
With 21
years experience in preaching, Barry has preached for Churches of Christ
in Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee. He has served as host for
"Fabric of Family" which airs within "Good News Today" on the Gospel
Broadcast Network. He appears in several lectureships and has
published many brotherhood articles. He is married to wife Jodi with two
sons Barry and Tyler, and also has two daughters, Hannah and Holly. Barry
is a graduate of Memphis School of Preaching, Harding Graduate School
Memphis, TN (Masters of Arts in Religion, Counseling Major); Southern
Christian University (now Ambridge University) Bachelor of Arts, Bible
Major and East Tennessee School of Preaching. We are proud to have Barry
as our Minister, and his family here at Jackson Heights Church of
Christ.

Youth and Family Minister: Chris
Moran Email:cmoran@jhcc.org Chris was born in Athens,
Alabama and grew up in the Rogersville,
Alabama
area. He graduated from
Lauderdale County High
School in 1997 and then from Heritage Christian University in May of 2008 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Bible and with a minor in Counseling. He and his
wife Janice have been married for nine years and they have two
children Elizabeth and Hallie. Chris has spoken at various different churches, camps, retreats, devos, and gospel
meetings. He has been involved in mission work in 10 different states
and in Mexico. Until moving to the
Florence
area, he served on the Rogersville Ambulance Unit as Emergency
Medical Technician (EMT) and on the Elgin Volunteer Fire
Department as a volunteer fire fighter. He and his family moved to Florence and starting working with the Jackson Heights congregation in May of
2007. |

Song Director: Wayne
Lewis Email:wdcas@comcast.net Wayne is a native of Florence, Alabama. He grew up with
the Jackson Heights congregation, where his father led singing for many
years. He is a 1981 graduate of Mars Hill Bible School and a graduate of
the University of North Alabama in 2000, BS Accounting, and 2003, MBA.
Wayne is a 4th generation song leader. He began to lead congregational
singing in 1983. He moved from Decatur Alabama in 1987 to begin the work
at Jackson Heights. He is married to the former Dawn Wright, of
Florence, and they have three children, Chase, Alec and Seth. Each year
he is invited to lead singing at congregations and youth rallies
throughout Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky. His other interests include
running and biking.
